Self-Drive Glamping Tour Under the Midnight Sun

1x night in transparent bubble at the 5 Million Star Hotel. Each bubble fits for 2 adults in one bed.

This is a 2 day trip. Car pickup early morning in Reykjavik and return scheduled for the following day before 20:00.

What you'll do

This tour gives you everything you want from Iceland – spectacular waterfalls, erupting geysers, spectacular waterfalls, and dramatic beaches.
You will start the tour by picking up your rental car at our garage, then you’ll set off on this two-day adventure.

 

Your itinerary

Day 1

Golden Circle area and 5 Million Star Hotel

This self-drive package starts in Reykjavik where you will pick up your rental car. This classic tour will bring you to the Golden Circle area and to the 5 Million Star Hotel for the evening where you will sleep in a bubble and experience the magical summer nights of Iceland. For the tour, the first stop will be Thingvellir National Park where you can discover the many sights of the park on your own. Then you’ll drive to a volcano crater-turned lake, and the Faxi waterfall. The next stop on the Golden Circle is Geysir geothermal area.  Then you will visit Gullfoss where you can feel the thundering power flowing from the glacial river.  In the evening, arrive at the 5 Million Star Hotel where you will be led to your bubble for the night.

Day 2

South Coast with hidden gems and the black sand beach

After checking out from the bubble, you will head south to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, then visit Gljúfrabri, its smaller, hidden sibling. On the way to another waterfall, you will stop to take a look at the Eyjafjallajökull glacier, which erupted in 2008 and stopped air traffic for a few days. The next stop will be Skógafoss, a waterfall behind which there is treasure hidden according to legends. Finally, you’ll drive to the Dýrhólaey cliff and the beach of Reynisfjara with its beautiful basalt columns. If you got hungry, we have some recommendations for you in the town of Vík.
You will be back in Reykjavik to drop off the car around 8 pm.

Any self-drive package can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, each booking will have a non-refundable 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received no less than 3 days before start time. The date can be altered, no charge, no less than 3 days before start time.
